Elizabeth moved to New Orleans with Kent in 1979, where she wrote advertising copy, served to find and place executives, and was an avid runner and triathlete.
She has won the Alliance Women Film Journalist Award, Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award, Deauville American Film Festival Award, Florida Film Critics Circle Award, and others.
